Requires going to their web site, being presented with ads and confusion, have to take SEVERAL steps to even see the information. Why? The advertisers are paying for part of your domain name, however you are going to waste a lot of minutes trying to find the information to confirm its correct. |

Automatic as long as your account is not past due. |
Notice by email, must see several ads to get to the right page to renew. Rate is slightly less but bombarded with irrelevant advertisements you have to waste your time on. |
| Expired Domain |
Can't happen, we renew for you as long as your account isn't past due.
If past due then there's a renewal period the domain is saved.

Upon expiration some auction the domain name as soon as legally allowed, you domain will be lost forever unless the winning bidder would like to sell it back to you (at a profit of course).
